Say hello to Simon! This is my next dishcloth pattern I’m releasing here on SmellsLikeYarn and is another quick and easy knit. All you need to know how to do is knit and slip stitches. Once you get started this dishcloth will fly off your needles in no time. Its full of great texture for giving your dishes a good scrub and wash.

The dishcloth is approximately 8″ x 8″ if you knit it using worsted weight yarn and US 8 (5 mm) needles. If you want to make the dishcloth larger or smaller you can do so by increasing your how many times your repeat and how many stitches you cast on. You’ll want to add or subtract stitches in multiples of 2 if you are going to make is smaller or larger.

I hope you enjoy the pattern and I can’t wait to see your finished dishcloths over on instagram. Tag your finished dishcloths #smellslikeyarn.

    1. Only advice I can offer is do it. I’m still learning all the basics of pattern writing and publishing and don’t really have much for tips right now.
