This morning I finished the 2nd section of stitches on my stitch sampler throw while I watched the F1 race on tv. The second section has a diamond lattice stitch that creates a really cool texture with knit and purl stitches. This section did give me a little bit of a challenge because there was a few times where I’d get to the end of the row and be off by stitches because I messed up a knit or purl stitch earlier in the row. I would have to knit back and fix that stitch and then reknit the rest of the row.
I ended up knitting 37 rows in this section and that gave it a length of 6″. Between section 1 and 2 I knitted 4 rows to act as a border between the 2 sections. Here is the pattern for this section.

Row 1: K12, (P1, K5) to last 12, P1, K11
Row 2: K8, P2, (K1, P1, K1, P3) to last 14 stitches, K1, P1, K1, P2, K9
Row 3: K10, (P1, K3, P1, K1) to last 8 stitches, K8
Row 4: K9, (P5, K1) to last 9 stitches, K9
Row 5: K10, (P1, K3, P1, K1) to last 8 stitches, K8
Row 6: K8, P2, (K1, P1, K1, P3) to last 14 stitches, K1, P1, K1, P2, K9
