The Beginning of the Stitch Sampler Throw

I spent my Sunday afternoon picking out different knitting stitch patterns to use in my stitch sampler throw. I picked 9 different ones that will make up the blanket. I intend to make each stitch section approximately 6″ long.  I’ll make posts as I complete each section of stitches.

The first section of the throw is the bottom border edge. For this portion I casted on 192 stitches on US 10 knitting needles. I’m using Addi Rocket Squared circular needles (Amazon Affiliate Link). I’m using a 60″ circular needle for this project.

For the bottom edge I knit all the stitches for 16 rows. This gives a bottom border edge that is approximately 2-1/2″ long.
